Luxury Spas in Europe: Favourite Weight Loss Clinics for Celebrities

February 19, 2024 by fitbiz

Viva Mayr Luxury Spa Austria

The Viva Mayr luxury spa in Austria is turning out to be Bollywood’s favourite detox and weight loss clinic.

And its not a place where you get pampered; they have some strict regimens to be followed (no sugar, no wifi). But its the end-result that counts, and several actors and directors have only positive things to say about the place.

Located in the beautiful Corinthian Alps of Austria, this place can easily pass for a beautiful film destination.

Its also an expensive place and the spa/weight loss centre can easily cost you around $5k a week.

Bollywood stars like Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, they all swear by the place.

Obviously because it works for them.

Several Bollywood celebs such as Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra have visited this spa to holiday and to experience rejuvenating massages.

Alia Bhatt has also visited this place as part of her European holidays, which included a break in Austria as well. “Yes, I’m at a well-known health retreat in Austria. Its great for body detox in order to cleanse the system. We indulged in a healthy plate of courgettes and polenta and have been strictly focusing on our fitness regimen, which included a no-carbs diet and doing yoga,” said Alia.

The rigorous programme is known to leave guests exhausted in the first week itself. You get no meals after 4 pm, no Wi-Fi, no sugar or processed foods, but the results are quite impressive.

The spa gives a specific diet to each of its clients and apparently there’s a series of injections as well.

The strict regimen and diet makes you feel unpleasant initially – headache, pale skin are common. But after a few days, you start feeling more energetic, your skin starts glowing and you also lose weight.

The Viva Mayr luxury spa in Austria is definitely the place to be if you’re looking for rest, relaxation and health.
