Satyajit is at the top out there. He was the man behind Aamir Khan’s rugged looks in Ghajini.
Cost: Satyajit charges anywhere between Rs 10,000 to Rs 1 lakh for a session, and takes on clients for at least 3-6 month.
With over 28 years of experience in fitness, Satyajit is one of the most sought-after trainers in Bollywood.
Vinod Channa has worked with stars like John Abraham, Riteish Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana (to name a few).
Cost: Vinod charges around Rs 1.5 lakh for 12 sessions. For personal training at home, he charges anywhere between Rs 3.5 – 5 lakh.
Vinod has over 15 years of experience in professional bodybuilding and specialised coaching from American Sports and Fitness Association.
Kris is a celebrity trainer who trained Hrithik Roshan for Krrish. He turned him into a superhero in 10 weeks. As per Grapevine, Hrithik Roshan paid Kris Gethin a whopping Rs 20 lakh a month.
Samir Jaura was responsible for training Farhan Akhtar in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Cost: Samir charges between Rs 3-4 lakh a month, including nutrition.
Manish has trained Bollywood stars like Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Unlike other celebrity trainers, Manish’s clients include Mr India and international bodybuilding champions.
Manish has over 20 years of experience in bodybuilding and his area of expertise is muscle-building. He first started the trend of the beefy Bollywood body with Salman Khan.
Cost: Manish charges around Rs 4,000 for each home session, but that doesn’t include nutrition. You can train at his gym for Rs 35,000 a month.
Samir and Namrata Purohit
Namrata runs the Pilates and Altitude Training studio with her father Samir, and has trained stars like Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor. She’s also the official fitness expert for Femina Miss India Pageant since 2011.
Namrata is a professional pilates and altitude training coach, and helps clients become more flexible. She is the youngest trained Stott Pilates Instructor in the World, and sought after not just by Bollywood celebs but also by athletes. She’s also a certified Barre instructor.
Cost: The couple charge Rs 32,000 for twelve personal training sessions.
Yasmin has over 2 decades of fitness training experience, and considered to be a pioneer of the Pilates physical fitness system in India. The BASI (Body Arts and Science International, US)-certified Pilates instructor is the go-to instructor of Pilates for Bollywood celebs. Yasmin has trained the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Bipasha Basu, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha.
One class with Yasmin Karachiwala costs around Rs.2,000; cost for 12 classes would be Rs. 20,000.
Parwani is an aerial yoga expert who teaches anti-gravity yoga and aerial Pilates to Bollywood celebrities. Malaika Arora is a big fan of her. Parwani was also instrumental in Kareena Kapoor’s weight loss after Taimur’s birth.
Cost: 12 one-on-one sessions with Parwani costs around Rs.36,000.
Radhika is a nutritionist, along with a yoga and Pilates instructor. Her celebrity clients include Sonam Kapoor, Huma Qureshi. Sonam Kapoor regularly trains with Radhika before her appearances at international film festivals.
Cost: Rs.5,000 (plus taxes) per session, monthly package costs Rs.48,000 (plus taxes).
