The pay depends on the experience of the trainer. Beginners without experience can expect between Rs. 10,000-Rs. 12,000 per month in a gym for one shift (8 hours), personal training pays extra – Rs. 750-Rs. 1,000 per hour, group classes between Rs. 400-Rs. 750 per hour class.

Experienced fitness trainers can earn go up to a few lakh rupees as well, though such trainers are few in number.
